Tere is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania and is Certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at York College of Pennsylvania and has a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Prescott College in Arizona.
Tere has been a practicing therapist since 2005 and has been in the human services field for 21 years. Her various roles in community agencies, outpatient clinics, and educational settings have equipped her with a myriad of skills that allow her to be flexible and meet clients where they are. Her focus on self-compassion, mindfulness, and letting go of barriers to creating the life we each want can support each person in accessing their natural happiness.
Among other areas, Tere specializes in trauma therapy, and anticipates beginning to use her therapy dogs for this treatment. She also has extensive experience with developmental disabilities, mood disorders, and anxiety.
For leisure, Tere enjoys exercise, spending time with her husband and two small children, and being outdoors.
